Sailing School NYC | Learn to Sail | Basic Keelboat (ASA 101)

Basic Keelboat (ASA 101)

Our Basic Keelboat sailing course prepares you for a lifetime of sailing. With an emphasis on learning through experience, we teach you practical skills that enable control and confidence on the water. You will be at the helm on the morning of your first class, and in command of the boat through all of the fundamental maneuvers by the next afternoon. Upon completing the course you have the option to test for your ASA Basic Keelboat Certification.

Overview

When and Where
Our two day weekend sailing lessons take place every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm at our two Manhattan locations: the 79th Street Boat Basin on the west side of Manhattan, and Pier 25 in Tribeca. There is a leisurely break in the middle of the day for lunch. NOTE: Due to park closures related to COVID-19, lessons are only available at our TriBeCa location.
