Mariette Booth
Mariette Booth has been sailing since birth. Literally. She was born on the deck of a wooden schooner almost 400 miles offshore in a wicked storm. What some would call a white squall. According to Mariette, she spent her childhood listening to the soundtracks to Broadway plays while sailing up and down the East coast of Africa. At 7 years old she had memorized the scores almost 300 plays, circumnavigated the planet 5 times, and was ready to make the move ashore. She is an incredible addition to the Atlantic Yachting crew and brings her singing abilities to each and every charter. Sit back, relax, and let Mariette serenade your sail. She is also fluent in 12 languages and serves as our dodeca-lingual tour guide. When she isn't sailing, you can find Mariette manning her food cart, The Cats Meow, a full service hot dog stand and kitty sitting operation. She most favors cold weather sailing and is most at home on the water in the early spring and late late fall.
