Last Day of the Season
Unusually warm weather and exceptional winds convinced us to stay open all the way until November. But now the time has truly come and we are starting to put the boats in dry dock and prepare winter.
We have just had our best season yet and we thank everyone who came out to sail with us. We hope all of you enjoyed yourselves, learned something new, have great memories of your sails with us, and remember to join us for more great sailing next year.
In the meantime, we'll be spending the winter sailing, fishing, and sunning in Hawaii. If you're in the neighborhood, we would love to hear from you.

Terrific Evening

Just wanted to thank you all again for a terrific evening. Marcus our captain, and Julie our crew member could not have been better. They were both phenomenal hosts, and we truly had a great time. I will definitely recommend Atlantic Yachting to friends and family. It was certainly a 30th Anniversary my parents will never forget. Thanks so much.

Sent my son and daughter last summer. They had a blast and learned a ton. They ended up staying for an additional session and became quite good little sailors. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the counselors - they seemed to really care about the kids and were very enthusiastic about what they were teaching. I highly recommend this program to all.

Perfect
Chara on Trip Advisor says:
I haven't been sailing in 25 years and was just looking for something different to do on a summer day; Atlantic Yachting came up on Google. And it was perfect. Great crew, effortless trip, couldn't have been more accommodating--it was a blast! I'd list the negatives, just so people know, but there weren't any.
A Fantastic Experience

Now this is the way to see Manhattan; unobstructed from the Hudson River. Our Crew, Mariette and Marcus, are fabulous and catered to our every need. You honestly feel as if you are on your own private yacht. This is a must for tourists and native New Yorkers as well.
Amazing

I took my mom for a surprise sail for her birthday and she LOVED it. This was the highlight of our trip to New York. We were going to go on the circle line when our concierge recommended Atlantic Yachting instead and we took a chance. WOW. This was one of those things you stumble onto in a new place that you feel so lucky to find. Our crew was fantastic. They poured our drinks, served our food, all while sailing us skillfully down the Hudson. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting an amazing New York experience.
U.S.S. New York
Wow. We just saw this thing on the water! Crazy gigantic! She is the U.S.S. New York and is made (partially) from remnants of the World Trade Center.
Perfect Summer Day
Another great day sailing on the Hudson.

My daughter Sam had an unbelievable time at the sailing camp this summer. The only problem is that my daughter enjoyed it so much that she keeps asking me and my husband to buy a sailboat! The staff was friendly and always available to address my questions or concerns. My girl had a fun, safe time on the water and learned skills that are invaluable, in my opinion, on or off of a sailboat. I strongly recommend this program.

We are excited to be included with a few of our fellow sailors in an article about family sailing in New York City.
"Family sailing lessons have a different vibe than group lessons with strangers. For starters, children are better students," said Miles Pincus, an owner of Atlantic Yachting, which offers, among other programs, a three-hour Introduction to Sailing for curious families.
“Kids are very used to learning,” Mr. Pincus said. “They’re used to being taught. Adults are not used to that. They tend to take their own route. A lot of adults try to manhandle the situation. It just doesn’t work that way.”
